Volunteers are the backbone of Dress for Success Southern Nevada. We wouldn't exist without dedicated individuals with heart and the ability to give back. Your time and expertise are valuable resources and can help low-income and disadvantaged women succeed in our own community.
Volunteers make a difference in a woman's life and her family's lives. You leave feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment.
We have many areas with which we need assistance. You might be the perfect person. If you love working with people, boosting others' self-esteem and love for fashion, then we need your help
You can change someone's life by helping low-income and disadvantaged women as they transition into the workforce.

Get started by joining us at our next New Volunteer Orientations! We hold new volunteer orientations for anyone interested in volunteering every first Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the Dress for Success Boutique at 3400 West Desert Inn Road Suite 25. Please RSVP to email@example.com
We have the following volunteer positions available:
Work directly with clients in our boutique, helping them choose an outfit that is appropriate for the job interview and compatible with cultural and individual styles. Your rapport and conversation during the private appointment will help the women nurture self-esteem and build confidence for the interview process.
Are you looking for a way to get involved on a weekly basis and make a significant impact on our daily operations? Boutique Leads have keys to the building and are responsible for opening/closing the boutique, overseeing tasks and managing volunteers during their shift. They also have the option of being Image Consultants during the same shift.
Do you have a talent for merchandising, interior design, fashion or color coordination? Join us at our boutique to intake, process, sort and display the clothing and accessory donations. Help us organize our inventory and make the boutique a warm and uplifting environment for our clients. Office help is also included in this area, tasks such as filing and data entry are also needed to keep things running smoothly.
Special Events / Publicity
Are you organized, a planner or a good writer? Assist with special events, like suit drives, internal and external fundraisers, or other affiliate promotions. Help with check-in and breakdown of events, publicity, soliciting donations and sponsors for events, or sending out post-event thank you letters. We can use your help!
Donate Your Professional Services
Your skills can help clients overcome barriers to success, gain confidence and thrive in the workplace. Professional services needed on an occasional basis include hairstylists, manicurists, estheticians, dentists, doctors, optometrists, attorneys, etc.
If you can speak another language, we would love to have your help in multiple areas!
Joining a committee is a great way to get involved if you are not available during our boutique's normal operating hours. Most committees meet in the evenings once per month or have conference calls as needed. Current committees include:
